Nurse Call is a simple bedside call‑button application that lets a patient quickly place a phone call to a nurse or CNA. We built the app with privacy as a core principle: it does not collect analytics, transmit data to our servers (we have none), or display ads.
By installing or using the app, you agree to the practices described below.
Type of data | What it includes | Where it is stored | Shared? |
---|---|---|---|
Caregiver phone numbers | The telephone numbers you manually enter for “Nurse” and/or “CNA.” | Securely in Apple’s UserDefaults on your device only. | No |
Crash logs (optional) | Device model, OS version, stack trace. | Apple’s developer portal (if you have “Share With App Developers” enabled in iOS Settings ▸ Privacy & Analytics). | Yes, with Apple only |
No analytics, location, contacts, health data, microphone, or camera data are ever collected or transmitted.
We do not sell, rent, or trade any personal data. The only third party that might receive limited information is Apple Inc., solely for crash‑reporting purposes, and only if you have opted in at the system level.
Phone numbers are stored using Apple’s sandboxed storage, protected by the device’s passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID. All calls are handled through the iOS tel://
scheme; we never intercept or log call metadata.
Because we neither collect nor process personal data beyond a locally stored phone number, most GDPR provisions do not apply. However, you may erase all data at any time by deleting the numbers in the app’s settings sheet or removing the app, which automatically deletes its sandbox and all associated data.
The app is not marketed to children under 13, but it contains no content unsuitable for them and collects no personal information as defined under COPPA.
